Free for teachers

K12.io is free for teachers. Build apps, preview them, and share them with your students at no cost. Includes 200 AI generation requests per day, resetting at midnight UTC. Extra app slots are not available for purchase yet.

Schools and districts

District licenses are coming; exact plan details and pricing will be announced.

Marketplace for sellers

Every educator can publish apps on the marketplace. Sellers keep 70% of each sale — K12.io retains a 30% platform fee — paid out through Stripe Connect in USD. Sellers set their own prices.

Bundled apps are coming soon: educators will be able to bundle marketplace apps together, and a bundle discount will come off everyone's share proportionally, so sellers are never penalized for being bundled.

Marketplace for buyers

Individual teachers can buy an app once and own it forever: every one-time purchase is a perpetual license to the complete app — the logic and the structure. The buyer download (the app's source files; the original build prompt is not included) is not available yet, but your license covers it when it ships.
